Georgia Stamos
"Miss Georgia"

Certified Orton-Gillingham & Dyslexia Specialist

Hello! My name is Georgia Stamos and I am a passionate teacher with over ten years of experience in education and dyslexia therapy. I have received a Master’s Degree in Elementary and Special Education and have worked with students in grades K-8 since 2009, providing individualized instructional support in Reading and Writing.

As a Certified Orton-Gillingham Instructor, I decided to pursue this specialized approach after recognizing the struggles many students faced with reading. My drive to find an effective literacy support method began when I observed that reading difficulties were hindering students’ progress across all subject areas. In 2014, I furthered my education to become certified in the Orton Gillingham Approach due to its proven systematic, structured, and multi-sensory instruction method. I’ve observed remarkable improvements in children’s reading fluency and writing abilities, and it’s incredibly rewarding to see their confidence grow as they master these essential skills.

Driven by a commitment to growth and progress, I enjoy supporting students and helping them overcome challenges to achieve their full potential. I believe all children are capable of achieving their goals when given individualized tools and support throughout their learning journey.

I try to create an engaging learning environment that fosters curiosity and a love of learning, and I am excited to be a part of such a dedicated team at Dyslexic Einstein.

I look forward to working with you and your child to support their educational journey!
